VRM was established by Paul Dunbar and Deborah Lord in 2019 offering specialised consulting services in mineral asset valuation. Lynda Burnett joined VRM as an Associate in 2020.
Drawing on extensive, global exploration, mining, financial and governance expertise we provide technical, commodity specific expertise to assist clients in response to project requirements. We facilitate the cross over between technical and commercial, legal, accounting, corporate and strategic.
Our team offers objective, independent advice and are recognised practitioners and specialists under the VALMIN Code and competent persons under the JORC Code for most mining commodities. We work with our network of associates when we need to supplement our specialist skills.
We have published numerous independent reports to support listings and corporate transactions on stock exchanges globally, including the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Deborah is a Fellow of the AusIMM, Member of the AIG and Graduate Member of the AICD

Paul Dunbar
Principal
Paul has more than 25 years’ experience in major mining and junior exploration companies, and consulting focussed in Western Australia covering a broad range of deposit styles and commodity experience. Through Dunbar Resource Management, established by Gordon Dunbar in 1990, he built on that experience to support both junior and emerging resources companies in delivering high value products to enhance their project’s potential.
Paul is a Member of the AusIMM and AIG.
Deborah Lord
Principal
Deborah has more than 30 years’ consulting and industry experience having previously worked with major mining companies and international consultancy firms across several continents and a range of geological terranes and commodities. She has an established professional network with the resources sector globally, as well as with corporate, financial and legal advisors and the regulators who work together to deliver reports to advance your projects.
Deborah is a Fellow of the AusIMM and a Member of the AIG.
Lynda Burnett
Associate
Lynda has over 35 years of global experience as a geologist spanning mine geology, mineral exploration, mining, business development and management across a range of commodities.
Lynda has specific experience and interest in risk and strategy as it applies to the mining industry.
Lynda is also an experienced company director with 20 years of board experience in conjunction
with full time executive roles with junior listed mining companies, university applied research and
large multinational mining companies.
